Meadow Lake RCMP crack down on speeders

As a part of the ongoing 2016 strategic initiative of the Meadow Lake RCMP, officers put into effect aggressive traffic enforcement in the city’s six school zones today, Feb. 10.
Eight tickets were issued in total, with the fastest speeder clocked and caught at 57 km/hr.
One ticket was handed out for a driver without a licence and one ticket for an unregistered vehicle.
The RCMP would like to remind Meadow Lake drivers that 30 km/hr speed zone limits are in effect during school hours and are actively enforced by police.
