Youths charged with forcible confinement

Two youths are facing serious charges after an incident on Valentine’s Day.

Police received a complaint around 3 p.m. on Feb. 14 in Maidstone, east of Lloydminster of forcible confinement and assault. According to RCMP the alleged victims are two young boys “aged 13 or under.”

After an investigation the RCMP charged two teenagers who have since been released on conditions. 

A 13-year-old boy from Maidstone has been charged with two counts each of unlawful confinement, assault with a weapon, using a firearm in the commission of an offence and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
