Bail requested for two Meadow Lake men facing child pornography charges

Two Meadow Lake men appeared in provincial court yesterday after being arrested during two different Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit investigations.

The first man, whose name is being withheld to protect his victims was arrested on charges including possession of child pornography, luring minors over the internet and sexual assault.

After requesting bail, the matter was adjourned to April 25 to ensure all conditions of release would be met, including residence and access to electronic monitoring.

The second man, whose name can’t be released due to a publication ban is facing 11 criminal charges including four counts of luring, two counts of making, possessing and distributing child pornography as well as charges for sexual interference and making explicit sexual material available to a child.
