Flying Dust senior assaulted in his own home

A senior citizen of the Flying Dust First Nation was robbed and assaulted at gun-point. The suspects involved were apprehended in Prince Albert.
Shortly after 10 p.m. on April 14, Meadow Lake RCMP were dispatched to the 74 year-old victim’s home after suspects unlawfully entered, assaulted him and stole items from the residence. The victim received minor injuries, was treated in Meadow Lake’s hospital and released shortly after.
An investigation led the RCMP to identify a suspect’s vehicle. P.A. police located the vehicle and arrested two suspects, a 21-year-old female and a 34-year-old male who are now in the custody of the police.
Both suspects are from the P.A. area but have connections to Meadow Lake.
