M.L. to hold special council meeting to award West Service Road paving project

Meadow Lake has chosen the company which will be awarded the approximated $1.7 million West Service Road paving project.
City council and administration will make the announcement at a special council meeting on Monday, May 2 at 5:30 p.m.
The project is funded through the city with businesses along the service road pitching in 15 per cent. City Manager Diana Burton said she expects the paving to start soon and wrap up by the end of the summer.
On April 20, the city blocked off access to the service road at the Seven Avenue intersection. During the temporary closure period, Burton said the city is seeking public input on the project.
