M.L. RCMP arrest man for weapons related charges

On May 13, Meadow Lake RCMP located and arrested 19-year-old Draysen Bigham after a short foot pursuit.

Bigham was wanted for weapons charges stemming from an incident in February. He is set to appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court Monday, May 16.

On Feb. 23, officers were called at roughly 4 p.m. to a home on the 500 block of Third Avenue W. for a firearms complaint. A youth had been threatened by three males, Bigham was allegedly one of them. A handgun may have been involved, according to police.
