Lexie Adzija scores twice as Ontario Red stays unbeaten at U18 championship
REGINA — Lexie Adzija had two goals and an assist as Ontario Red remained undefeated with a 5-3 victory over Saskatchewan on Friday at the Canadian under-18 women’s hockey championship.
Jessica Digirolamo, Sarah Fillier and Daryl Watts, into an empty net, also scored for Ontario Red (3-0-0).
Jordyn Holmes struck twice for Saskatchewan (1-2-0) with Nara Elia adding the other.
Loryn Porter made 23 saves for her second win of the tournament while Chantal Burke turned aside 43 shots in defeat.
