Anxious moments near Meadow Lake school

There were some anxious moments in the west end of Meadow Lake on Wednesday, as RCMP responded to a complaint of a loud noise and a disturbance.

The incident occurred at roughly 1 p.m. and as a precaution, a perimeter was briefly formed around Gateway School.

Sgt. Ryan How of the Meadow Lake RCMP said at no point was the school threatened and the police presence was just a precaution.

How said the investigation is on-going.
