Four people involved with yesterday’s drug bust have now been charged, and are appearing in Meadow Lake court today.

RCMP reported two adult males and two youth males were acting suspicious before entering a vehicle, which turned out to be stolen.

Thirty-year-old Gerald Sinclair is facing a total of 10 charges, including possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of cocaine, marijuana, and crystal meth, as well as possession of all these drugs for the purpose of trafficking.  He is also charged with obstructing an officer, two different breaches of probation, as well as proceeds of crime.

Twenty-eight-year-old Dallas Ross is facing seven charges, including possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes, possession of cocaine, marijuana, and crystal meth, as well as possession of the cocaine and crystal meth for the purpose of trafficking.  He is also charged with possession of proceeds from a crime under $5,000.

The two youth cannot be named.

In a media release, Sgt. Ryan How said the two male youth are facing charges of possession of cocaine, marijuana, and crystal meth, as well as possession of cocaine and crystal meth for the purpose of trafficking.

“One youth is also facing several counts of failing to comply with his existing conditions on an undertaking to a judge,” he said. “In total, 22 grams of crystal meth, individually packaged pieces of crack cocaine, a small quantity of marijuana, and $750 in cash were seized in addition to cell phones, a large knife/machete and other paraphernalia.”

The release also indicates that further charges in this case are likely.
