Sox look to end 3 game skid against Jays
After an unscheduled seven day break, the Meadow Lake Sox will be back in action tonight.
After opening the season with an impressive 4-1 record, the Sox have dropped their last three games to sit with a record of 4-4. Border City boasts a 6-1 record so far this young season.
The game plan has not changed for Meadow Lake coach Craig Weran who said the team needs to swing the bat better if they want success against the Jays.
“We need to hit the ball and play better defensively,” Weran said.” We’ve struggled in our last three games to put together hits and score runs which we were able to do the first five games of the season.”
