Enjoy it while it lasts; mild weather to end by mid-week
Mild weather for the first weekend of 2018 offered welcome relief from the brutal cold snap, but you might want to soak up the January warmth while you can.
Monday and Tuesday are expected to be pleasantly warm with daytime highs hovering around the freezing mark.
Unfortunately, Environment Canada meteorologist Mike Russo warned that the warm weather is not going to last.
“We’re going to be tapping into some northerly winds and those winds (will be) ushering throughout Saskatchewan and daytime highs plummeting well below seasonal for this time of year,” Russo explained.
