Three arrested for drug charges in M.L.

Three men will be appearing in court in late February after being arrested for drug-related charges this past weekend.

According to a media release from Staff Sgt. Tim Sartison, Meadow Lake RCMP stopped a vehicle for a provincial traffic violation on Jan. 6.

“During the traffic stop, a subsequent investigation led to the seizure of methamphetamine, cocaine, and Canadian currency,” he said. “The three male occupants in the vehicle have been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and proceeds of crime.”

The three accused have been identified as 28-year-old Dabney Natomagan, 36-year-old Roderick Gardiner, and 23-year-old Napoloen Misponas. 

The allegations have yet to be proven in court, all three men were released and are set to appear in court Feb. 26 at the Meadow Lake courthouse.
