Meadow Lake business destroyed by fire

A local business is cleaning up after a fire broke out overnight.

North Kings Automotive, an automotive parts store on Railway Avenue in Meadow Lake, was reduced to rubble.

On the business’ Facebook page, owner Derek Joseph confirmed the news.

“We are extremely saddened and heartbroken at the loss of our shop,” he said. “North Kings was lost to a fire last night. We are beyond grateful for the patronage and trust that you have all given to us since we opened our doors.”

He said the business is closed for the foreseeable future.

“We will be closed for the time being in order to pick up,” he said. “We are already working hard to rebuild the business and come out even stronger than ever.”
