Discretionary use application granted for new M.L. fertilizer building

The ground can now be broken on a new bulk fertilizer storage facility for Cavalier Agrow in Meadow Lake, once two lots become one.

At this week’s city council meeting, a public hearing was held to give anyone with questions or concerns the opportunity to ask questions of the developers. There were no objections brought forward in person or in writing.

Coun. Conrad Read asked what kind of materials would be stored at the facility.

“It’s standard fertilizer, there’s not going to be dangerous goods stored out there?” he asked.
