Meetings to Design the Inquiry Into Missing and Murdered Aboriginal Women

These meetings are for the design of the inquiry, not the actual inquiry itself.

The Government of Canada believes that an inquiry into missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls can only be designed after hearing from those directly affected.

The government is holding meetings across Canada with survivors, family members and loved ones of victims, as well as national Aboriginal, provincial, territorial representatives and front-line organizations to seek their views on the design and scope of the inquiry.  

Meetings for the design of the inquiry will be held in Manitoba on February 8 and in Saskatchewan February 9 (Regina) &10 (Saskatoon).  For more information go to:
