Think First for Kids

Mar 11, 2016 | 9:15 AM

We want to hear from kids about how they think first to prevent injury!

A reminder that Parachute’s I ThinkFirst! contest runs until April 13, 2016. Participate today and you could win helmets for your entire class

Building on students’ knowledge of Parachute’s TD ThinkFirst For Kids curriculum, we invite kids across Canada to tell us why they think first. Students can submit creative art projects explaining in their own words how and why they think first to prevent injury when they are active at play, at school or at home.

TD ThinkFirst for Kids curriculum, for grades K-8 (available in English and French), speaks to injury topics such as concussions, injuries during sports and recreation, pedestrian and vehicular safety and more. The program uses interactive and flexible lessons and activities to engage students in learning how to think first before participating in their favourite activities, and empowers them to make safe decisions while navigating risks in their daily lives.
