Paper Lantern Workshop at Ness Creek and Saskatoon

Love the rustic beauty and woodsy elegance of paper lanterns?

Take part in this afternoon workshop to create TWO handmade lanterns – one to contribute to the March 3rd Fire & Ice Winter Festival ‘Light up the Night’ winter walk and at least one more to take home with you for your yard or home.

We will use willow to create a woodland lantern or a pyramid lantern that is elegant and beautiful. Each lanterns take between 90 minutes and 2 hours to make – so you should be able to complete 2 lanterns during the workshop – or one elaborate lantern.

• SASKATOON – February 24th, 1 – 5pm
• BIG RIVER – February 25th, 1 – 5pm

The price is $30. This price includes the workshop and all the materials you will need AND a ticket to the Fire & Ice Festival at the Ness Creek Festival Site on March 3rd!! That way, you can bring your lantern to participate in the Light Up the Night winter walk as part of the event if you so choose!
