A 14-year-old male youth from Meadow Lake has been charged following Thursday’s incident at the Gateway Elementary School which forced the school implement its hold and secure procedure.

City of M.L. pays grant forward to Door of Hope

The Door of Hope, Meadow Lake’s food bank and soup kitchen, is getting a $500 boost from the City of Meadow Lake, thanks to a grant the city received from the Saskatoon Travelodge Hotel.

Lakeview school campaign celebrates kindness in M.L.

Kindness can go a long way to brighten a person’s day, and a student-led group at Meadow Lake’s Lakeview Elementary School is acknowledging this fact throughout the community.

CJNS celebrates 40 years on-air in Meadow Lake

When Meadow Lake’s radio station CJNS debuted, the first song to hit the airwaves was the aptly-titled Turn Your Radio On by the Statler Brothers. Today marks 40 years since that song and the beginnings of local radio in Meadow Lake, on Nov. 1, 1977.
