Marc-Olivier Brouillette welcomes son on playoff Sunday

It wasn’t even a decision for Marc-Olivier Brouillette.

When his wife went into labour Saturday evening, staying by her side was much more important than a football game – even in the playoffs.

Riders move on to eastern finals after 31-20 win in Ottawa

The Riders packed their bags for a long stay and now they’ll get at least another week in Ontario.

Saskatchewan defeated the Ottawa Redblacks in the eastern semi-final 31-20 and will move on to face Toronto next Sunday in the eastern final.

The Roughriders gain one of their best and lose one of their best as they square off in the eastern semi-final Sunday afternoon.

Sophomore Riders Rodgers, Mrabure amped for 1st playoff game

It’s been a quick turnaround for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The team doubled their wins from five last season to 10 this season and have made the playoffs.

They’ll square off in the Eastern Division semi-finals against the Redblacks on Sunday.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders will be packing their bags and heading to Ottawa after losing to the Edmonton Eskimos 28-13 Saturday night.  A win would have had the Riders stay west and play Winnipeg, but now the road to the Grey Cup goes through the east. No team in CFL history has crossed over and made to the championship game.  The Riders spent the week stressing the importance of going out on a high note but shot themselves in the foot with a costly 11 penalties which Edmonton took advantage of nearly eve
