A combination of snow and wind brewing to the west is expected to bring challenging conditions Friday. Weather forecasters have recommended the public change travel plans if they can, and keep an eye on the Highway Hotline.

As spring approaches and temperatures begin fluctuating, SaskEnergy is warning homeowners to be careful of damage to their natural gas meters and rooftop heating equipment.

City crews busy clearing streets after recent heavy snow

Two large snowfalls in the last five days have dumped nearly 15 centimetres of snow on Meadow Lake, and city crews have been busy clearing roadways. While the process takes time, the city has a strategy that starts as soon as the first flakes fly.
