Provincial parks lottery registration begins today

The countdown is on for those who enjoy camping in our province and after last week’s cold snap; it can’t come soon enough.

Environment Canada is warning people to drive and walk with caution tonight and into tomorrow as warm weather today mixed with freezing temperatures tonight will melt snow and could cause a flash freeze on roads and walkways.

Plus temperatures to cause hazardous driving conditions

Relief from the unseasonably cold weather this month is coming today in the form of temperatures up to 5 C, but according to Environment Canada, the nice weather comes with its own set of hazards.

First snowfall for parts of Sask. as south still waits for winter

The first brush with winter came for many parts of Saskatchewan overnight Wednesday.

While Environment Canada had called for snowfall throughout most of the province, areas to the south were mainly spared.
