Guelph Storm down Ottawa 67’s to win OHL title and advance to the Memorial Cup
GUELPH, Ont. — Isaac Ratcliffe scored twice and added two assists in a five-goal second period as the Guelph Storm defeated the Ottawa 67’s 8-3 on Sunday to win the Ontario Hockey League final in six games.
Dmitri Samorukov chipped in with two goals and two assists of his own for Guelph, which advanced to the Memorial Cup for the first time since 2014.
Playoff scoring leader Nick Suzuki had a goal and two assists, and Cedric Ralph and Domenico Commisso had a goal and an assist for the Storm, while Keegan Stevenson rounded out the scoring. Anthony Popovich finished with 23 saves.
