Meadow Lake city council meeting tonight via live video-stream
Meadow Lake City Council is hosting tonight’s public council meeting online. The city moved to a digital format for this meeting as a precaution against the spread of COVID-19.
In a statement issued to meadowlakeNOW, city manager Diana Burton said in order for members of the public to get a chance to speak at any council meeting, arrangements must be made to do so beforehand. The public can request to be a delegation or send correspondence as part of council’s regular procedure.
“Nothing changes with the online format,” she said. “Anyone who is not a member of council or administration will be able to listen to or view the proceedings just as if they were sitting in the gallery at council chambers. It is being recorded and will be posted afterwards for anyone who is interested.”
Some of items on council’s agenda are the annual building report, annual fire report, recreation facility survey results and Civic Center rental agreements.
