Possible COVID-19 exposure in Beauval

Oct 8, 2020 | 6:15 PM

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is advising the public about a potential COVID-19 exposure in Beauval.

According to a media release, the SHA said anyone who was at the Gospel revival on Oct. 3 in Beauval should immediately self isolate. They should also call Healthline 811 and call Public Health Officials if they did not wear a mask, shared food or drinks and did not stick to your household or bubble.

The attendees of the event who did follow precautions such as wearing a mask and keeping physical distance should self monitor for 14 days.

As stated in the release, Medical Health Officer Dr. Rim Zayed said attending these events without complying with public health recommendations for mass gatherings puts everyone at risk of infection.
