Province records 81 new cases, 53 patients are in hospital
After announcing further restrictive measures to combat COVID-19, the province is reporting 81 new cases and 108 recoveries.
The new amount brings the provincial total to 4,513 cases. The new cases are located in the Far North West (one), Far North Central (six), Far North East (three), North West (seven), North Central (10), North East (11), Saskatoon (five), Central East (four), Regina (16), South West (six), South Central (eight) and South East (four) zones.
Of the total cases, 1,427 are considered active. There have been 3,057 recoveries.
There are 53 patients in hospital. Thirty-eight of those patients are receiving inpatient care with one in the Far North West, one in the North West, five in North Central, five in the North East, 20 in Saskatoon, two in Regina, one in the South West and three in the South East zone. Fifteen people are in intensive care; one in the North West, three in North Central, eight in Saskatoon, two in Central East and one in Regina.
