Province tells public to keep New Year celebrations small, records 190 new COVID-19 cases
The province is urging the public to stay safe this New Year’s Eve by celebrating with only your household and making virtual connections instead of in-person ones.
The provincial government issued the precaution in its daily release to media which reported one death, 190 new cases, 142 hospitalizations and 439 recoveries.
A Saskatchewan resident in their 80s who was diagnosed with COVID-19 has died. The resident lived in the Saskatoon zone.
The new cases bring the provincial total to date to 15,350 cases.
