Saskatchewan’s northwest continues to report high new case rates
The province announced another 26 new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan today, including 18 that are in the six Saskatchewan northern zones. This brings the provincial total to 49,556 cases; 48,694 recoveries and 287 cases considered active.
Of the current active cases, 170 are in the northern zones in the province, with the other 117 being reported in the remaining 7 zones.
The new cases in Northern Saskatchewan are located in the following zones: Far North West, 14; Far North East, one; North West, two; and North Central, one. One case was reassigned to the North West zone. Five cases, which were Saskatchewan residents tested out-of-province, were added to the following zones: Regina, four; and South East, one.
