Province reports 126 new cases of COVID-19
The Government of Saskatchewan has reported 126 new cases of COVID-19 in the province and 10 new deaths Tuesday.
The new cases in northern Saskatchewan are found in the Far North West (five), Far North East (eight), North West (six), North Central (eight), North East (one), and eight new cases have pending residence information.
There are 2,538 cases considered active and 73,242 cases have recovered. Less than one-third (31 per cent) of new cases are 11 years old or under. Over one-fourth, (26.4 per cent) of new cases eligible for vaccination (aged 12 years and older) were fully vaccinated.
In total, 286 people are hospitalized, including 217 inpatient hospitalizations and 69 in intensive care. Of the 286 patients, 207 (72.4 per cent) were not fully vaccinated.
