Snowfall warnings issued as winter returns to parts of Sask.
Some parts of Saskatchewan are getting acquainted with winter and dicey driving conditions again.
Environment Canada issued snowfall warnings early Wednesday for central areas of the province including Meadow Lake, Prince Albert, Humboldt, Melfort, Nipawin, Hudson Bay, Kamsack and continuing north into Waskesiu, La Ronge and Buffalo Narrows.
“It’s more the central part of Saskatchewan that will be hit the hardest,” said meteorologist Dave Baggaley.
“We’re looking at generally around 10 centimetres to fall today. For areas closer to the Manitoba border we’re looking at the snow to persist tonight and through Thursday so it could be another 10 cm on top of that,” he added.
