Warm spell set to hit Saskatchewan, temperatures above zero expected
You may be able to put your winter jacket away for at least a couple of days.
Just a couple of weeks since Saskatchewan was put under an extreme cold warning, temperatures are expected to creep above zero either this weekend or early next week.
“Temperatures of at least two to four degrees is fairly likely and possibly five to six degrees,” said Justin Shelley, a meteorologist with Environment and Climate Change Canada.
He explained this is what’s being forecasted for Central and Southern Saskatchewan. This doesn’t mean northern communities will be missing out on the warm spell.
