RCMP advising of increased presence on Makwa Sahgaiehcan FN following incident

Loon Lake RCMP are advising the residents of Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation of an increased police presence as they are currently investigating an incident that happened on the reserve.
Residents are being asked to stay away from the areas where police are present and to follow any direction from officers.
Investigators believe there is no imminent threat to public safety however if one is identified, the public will be immediately notified.
Police are asking people to report any suspicious activity to Loon Lake RCMP at 306-837-2440 or Crime Stoppers.
