RCMP still looking for Dallas Fulton and second missing man

The exact location of Dallas Fulton, a suspect in the shooting of a Prince Albert man almost a month ago, remains a mystery.

RCMP said on November 20 they completed extensive searches of the Thunder Rapids area north of Carrot River but have not found any indication Fulton is there.

If the man, who has outstanding warrants, is not in the dense bush at the northend of Tobin Lake, he may have made his way to either Saskatoon or Duck Lake as those are places he is known to frequent.

Drones and police dogs have been used but have not turned up anything yet.

Fulton’s family has reported him missing to police.

Along with Fulton, police are also looking for 21-year-old Brody Lebel. A missing person alert was issued for him yesterday.

Officers say it is urgent that they speak to Lebel who has not been charged, so limited information can be released about him.

Lebel is known to hang around Prince Albert and is described as six-feet tall with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of a brick wall on his right hand.

The victim of the shooting on the White Star Road on October 23, Orlan Peterson is recovering at home. A GoFundMe effort on his behalf sits at $148,000.

Following the shooting of Peterson, the three or four suspects drove in his truck north and then east, taking Highway 123 north towards Cumberland House.

They made it about 40 kilometres before colliding with a rock truck that was being used in road repairs.

Witnesses at the time observed three or four suspects get out of the truck and run into the bush.

Two of those suspects, Angus Heathen, age 33, and Melissa McCallum, 18, were found by the Saskatoon Police Service’s Air Support Unit walking along a riverbank about three kilometres away.

They were arrested and have multiple gun and assault related charges. Heathen has subsequently been charged with failing to comply with a probation order filed against him along with possessing a gun contrary to an order.

Both are now further charged with a previous robbery on October 17 in the RM of Garden River, a week before the assault on Peterson.

In that incident, two people in a vehicle on the Garden River Road near Highway 55 northeast of Prince Albert stopped to help another vehicle that looked in need of assistance, just before 5 p.m.

A male then threatened them with a gun and stole their vehicle.

About 40 minutes later Prince Albert Police got a report of a robbery near Little Red River Park.

Two people had been threatened with a gun, assaulted and had their vehicle stolen.

One of the suspect vehicles then hit another vehicle inside the city and fled. One of the vehicles was a red Dodge Dakota pickup and the second was a black Kia Sportage SUV.

Both Heathen and McCallum remain in custody.
