
Canadian Dave Cameron moves on at Professional Darts Corporation qualifying school
KALKAR — Canadian David (Excalibur) Cameron has advanced to the final stage of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) Qualifying Schools.
The 55-year-old from Fall River, N.S., a former world senior darts masters champion, defeated Stefan Dees of the Netherlands 5-2 to reach the final eight Tuesday on Day 2 at the PDC’s European Qualifying School.
More than 800 players are competing this week for the chance to secure two-year PDC Tour Cards.
Canadians Jim (Gentleman) Long and John (Darth Maple) Part, a former three-time world champion, are taking part at the U.K. Qualifying School in Milton Keynes.
