Case of COVID-19 identified at Spiritwood High
The Living Sky School Division announced today an individual at Spiritwood High School has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
In keeping with the division’s health and safety protocols, the school is receiving a deep cleaning/sanitizing and will remain open for the time being. They are also working closely with Public Health staff to ensure other measures like proper hygiene, implementing mask wearing and asking students and staff to stay home if they have any symptoms. Public Health has also been reaching out to anyone who may have been in close contact with the individual to provide direction.
To protect the privacy of the individual, no further details are being shared at this time. Parents are advised to call HealthLine 811 and self-isolate if they or their children develop symptoms of COVID-19.
As of November 1, Saskatchewan has seen 3,218 positive cases, 2,395 recoveries and 25 deaths.
