Total active COVID-19 cases nears 2,000 as 202 new cases and 174 recoveries reported
The total number of active COVID-19 cases is nearly at 2,000 across the province for the first time since Nov. 17, 2020 when cases climbed to 4,763 before beginning its downward decent.
As of March 29, the province has reported an additional 202 cases of COVID-19 across the province, as well as 174 recoveries.
This brings the provincial total to 33,233 cases; 30,822 recoveries and 1,978 cases are considered active.
The new cases are located in northern Saskatchewan are in the Far North West (two), Far North East (six), North West (nine), North Central (10) and North East (11) zones. There are four cases with pending residence information.
