Province announces 73 new cases of COVID-19, active cases now below 1,000
The Saskatchewan government has announced 73 new cases of COVID-19 in the province.
For Northern Saskatchewan, the new cases are found in the Far North East (one), North West (three), North Central (13), and eight new cases have pending residence information.
There are 998 active cases and 78,503 cases are considered recovered.
Less than one-third (31.5 per cent) of new cases are between the ages of 20 to 39 years. Almost one-half (47.3 per cent) of new cases eligible for vaccination (aged 12 years and older) was fully vaccinated.
