Environment Canada issued an advisory as dense fog blanketed the western half of the province Wednesday morning.
The weather agency warned visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero.
Communities under the advisory include Meadow Lake, Lloydminster and the Battlefords, but excluded Saskatoon despite the city experiencing foggy conditions.
The Highway Hotline is reporting poor visibility east and south of the city including the numbers 5, 11, 16, 41 and 219 between the city and Dakota Dunes.
