Rainfall warnings issued for parts of central Saskatchewan
Break out the umbrella – rainfall warnings are in effect for much of central Saskatchewan.
Environment Canada issued the warnings Thursday morning for areas in and around Saskatoon, Kindersley and Humboldt. Meteorologist Rose Carlsen said the rain will likely start to fall on Thursday evening and continue through the day on Friday.
General rainfall amounts will total 40 to 60mm, Environment Canada noted, but some areas in the province could see heavier bursts of rain with up up to 80mm of precipitation.
Carlsen said there is a possibility the warning could be extended to other areas of the province.
