Adult male arrested in relation to threats towards school

A 30-year-old adult male has been arrested and charged with one count of uttering threats at a residence on Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation in relation to an incident on September 25, 2024.
30-year-old Rayner Otuskeepewisk from Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation is facing a charge of uttering threats and will appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on September 30, 2024
Yesterday, Loon Lake RCMP said they were investigating two incidents of threats to schools. The verbal threats to Makway Sahgaiehcan were followed hours later by a social media threat to the Ministikwan Lake Cree Nation school.
A youth was arrested for those threats and will be in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on Monday for similar charges.
