M.L. street sweeping to start soon

With the snow nearly melted, dust and sand litter the streets waiting to be swept up.
Meadow Lake city manager Diana Burton said if the weather remains ideal, sweeping crews will be out in the next couple of weeks.
“They generally start downtown along Centre St. because they can generally catch that area when there are no cars parked there,” she said.
After crews sweep the downtown area they will move onto residential streets. People who park on the street are asked to be aware of when crews are working and to move their vehicles when sweepers come down the street.
