Silvernagle returns to provincial women’s curling final
Besides an opening draw loss, the Robyn Silvernagle rink out of North Battleford has dominated the Viterra Scotties Tournament of Hearts.
Silvernagle opened the nine-team event with a loss but hasn’t tasted defeat since including a victory in the one-two page playoff game Saturday night.
After four straight blanks to start the game, Silvernagle said blowing the game open with three in the fifth end set the table for a return to the provincial women’s curling championship.
“We knew we had to stay patient and keep throwing rocks well. We needed to keep things open and play smart,” Silvernagle said.
