Environment Canada issues Special Weather Advisory over high temps

Aug 6, 2018 | 12:07 PM

It’s going to be a hot week across the province.

Environment Canada issued a Special Weather Advisory stating extreme heat is expected to hit most the province this week.

Starting Aug. 7, many portions of Saskatchewan can expect to see daytime highs of 30 degrees Celsius or higher for the next four to five days.

High temperatures will be spread into Saskatchewan and southern Manitoba courtesy of an upper-level ridge developing over the prairie region this week.
