Meadow Lake man dead after two-vehicle collision on Highway 55

A 41-year-old man from Meadow Lake is dead following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 55.
Sunday at around 4:15 p.m., emergency personnel from Meadow Lake were called to a motor vehicle collision about eight kilometres east of the city, according to police.
The driver and lone occupant of a westbound vehicle was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead. The three occupants of the eastbound vehicle were also taken to hospital as a precaution, but have since been released.
An initial investigation found the westbound vehicle went into the eastbound lane. Both vehicles ending up in the ditch south of the road and the westbound vehicle rolled.
