Missing youth found on Big River First Nation

Update: RCMP said both were located safe at a home on Big River First Nation. 

Big River RCMP are looking for two teenage girls reported missing from a local youth lodge. 

RCMP say 15-year-old Tasha Studer and 13-year-old Kayla Rabbitskin left the Asikwanehk Youth Lodge in Big River First Nation Wednesday night without notifying any staff. The girls were reported missing Wednesday night at 11:30 p.m. 

Rabbitskin is described as Aboriginal and stands five feet three inches. She weighs 125 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.  She was last seen wearing a purple sweater and blue jeans. 

Studer is described as Aboriginal female standing five feet four inches and weighing 140 pounds. She has light brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a red sweater and blue jeans.

Police say the girls may be heading to the Meadow Lake or Prince Albert areas. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Tasha Studer or Kayla Rabbitskin is asked to contact police.
