As we make our way through August, extend your summer at the lake and enjoy the last few weeks of seasonal events and activities! Remember, the fun doesn’t stop when the kids go back to school, events continue into the fall as the air becomes cool and crisp and the leaves turn golden. Please feel free to share with colleagues, tourism partners, and the public.

2:00 p.m. – Aquatic Animals Program – Main Beach

7:00 p.m. – Spirits of the Park Program – Sidewalk below the Teepee

8:00 p.m. – Friends of the Park Cabaret Fundraiser – Community Hall

                (Admission at the door)

Saturday, August 26th – All activities at the festival grounds

9:30 a.m. – Morning Yoga

10:45 a.m. – Main Stage Welcome

11:00 a.m. – Family Activities (until 4:00 p.m.)

11:00 a.m. – Singing with Sylvia

11:30 a.m. – Live Music (until 10:00 p.m.)

2:00 p.m. – Beer Gardens (until 10:00 p.m.)

Sunday, August 27th

8:00 a.m. – Pancake Breakfast – Community Hall

Wednesday Bingo at the Heritage Museum – August 16th and 23rd at 7:30 p.m.

The Waskesiu Heritage Museum puts on a Wednesday Bingo night at Terrace Gardens (across from the Nature Centre). Stop by August 16th or 23rd to take part in this family fun event. Doors open at 6:50 p.m. and Bingo starts at 7:30 p.m.! This is a popular event so arrive early to get a good seat!

Concession is available and cash prizes are given out! All proceeds go to support the Waskesiu Heritage Museum.

Interpretive activities end next week! – August 24th at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Regular interpretive programming is almost over for the summer season. How time flies when you’re having fun! Make sure you experience all of our summer offer before August 24th. Don’t miss your chance to make your own bannock over the fire, howl with the wolves, or watch as park characters leap out of the history books and onto the streets!
