Roughriders Francis adjusting to Canada and its football

It all happened very quickly for Roughrider safety Kevin Francis. 

In the span of about a week, he found out he would be considered a Canadian in theCFL, declared for the supplemental draft, worked out with Chris Jones and was selected by the Riders in the draft.

Former Riders join fans for kick-off to last season at Mosaic Stadium

The Riders will kick off the 2016 season Friday at 8 p.m. at Mosaic Stadium at Taylor Field for the final time.

Fans and number of former Riders were on hand at Regina’s City Square Plaza Thursday afternoon and got an early start on the celebrations.

5 players you should know before Thursday's Rider game

The Saskatchewan Roughriders take to the field Thursday night in Regina for the first regular-season game of 2016, which may leave some fans overwhelmed by the number of new names on the roster.

To help you out, here are five players to know before the 8 p.m. kickoff.

No longer a rookie, Riders’ Knox Jr. ready for a new role

Jeff Knox Jr. strutted his stuff during his first year with the Roughriders, but in the start of his second, he’s had to take it a little slower.

Knox Jr. missed most of training camp with a nagging injury, which he tested out during Monday’s practice.
