Roughriders receivers and DBs square off on Day 4 of training camp

The defensive backs brought in by Roughriders head coach Chris Jones might require a double take.

“It’s like a basketball team out there we’re playing against, it’s crazy,” laughed receiver Naaman Roosevelt after a warm day four of training camp.

Positional changes all about depth for Roughriders head coach Chris Jones

No one was as surprised as Tim Agbaje when he found out he would practice with the offensive line Tuesday.

After all, Agbaje is a career defensive lineman.

“I was like ‘oh boy.’ The first thing I said was ‘oh boy,’” Agbaje said after training camp on Tuesday.

Riders to highlight Grey Cup champs in farewell season at Mosaic Stadium

The Saskatchewan Roughriders are planning to end their tenure at the old Mosaic Stadium with a bang, and a party.

The team released its schedule for the official farewell season events on Tuesday, the same day single-game tickets went on sale.

The Roughriders were off to the races as training camp started in Saskatoon Sunday morning.

The Rider Nation knows all too well the personnel changes to the Roughriders in off season - but there was no denying the change of tempo at Griffiths Field.

Riders Head Coach doesn't see change getting in the way of a championship

Chris Jones is making sure there are no questions about what he expects in year one of his tenure in Saskatchewan.

“When we walk in that building every day and they’re paying us a pay cheque, they pay us to do one thing and that’s win a Grey Cup.”
