M.L. library gearing up for summer reading program
Staff at the Meadow Lake library are gearing up for the annual summer reading program which includes fun activities, prizes and a science camp.
Programming clerk Tawn Marshall said activities start on Tuesday, July 5 and the Saskatchewan Science Centre will have an outreach camp on July 12.
“Last year we had two young people (from the outreach camp) who came and did a wonderful afternoon. We had 50 kids in our back parking lot and they kept everybody engaged and happy for a solid three hours, it was a great afternoon,” she said.
Marshall added in order to participate in the activities and science camp, families have to come to the library, located on Centre St. and can register as late as Monday, July 4.
