22 charges laid in M.L. drug trafficking and missing persons case
Three Edmonton men have been arrested in conjunction with an ongoing missing persons and drug trafficking investigation in Meadow Lake. According to a media release sent today by Saskatchewan RCMP, local RCMP attended a residence on 3rd Avenue West in the community of Meadow Lake. Inside, detachment members found three adult males and a female youth, who was offered medical treatment. Dylan Furaha, Faisel Aden, and Josh Virgo were arrested at the scene without incident.
The media release went on to say that a “Controlled Drug and Substances Act warrant was executed and 56 grams of cocaine, a quantity of marihuana and drug paraphernalia was seized from the residence.”
All three are charged with forcible confinement and possession of cocaine and for the purpose of trafficking cocaine. Furaha and Aden are charged with assult with a weapon, sexual assault, sexual interference and procuring under 18-years-old. Various other charges between the three include assault with a weapon, possession of marijuana.
The men have all been remanded and are due in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on Monday May 1 at 9:30 am
