M.L. Cruisers car show a hit in 19th year
A number of car enthusiasts and admirers made their way down the road to check out the Meadow Lake Cruisers Show and Shine Saturday, and it was the busiest in the club’s history.
The annual event hosts a variety of car lovers who have restored and put hours of work into their vehicles. There was a good mix of classic cars and newer models for visitors to admire.
Phil Ripley, the club’s vice president, said the turnout for both car restorers and visitors was at an all-time high this year. There were a total of 64 vehicles on the floor of the Meadow Lake Arena, with 16 from Meadow Lake Cruisers members.
“We got our posters out earlier, we got the word directly out to the car clubs around here, and they responded bigtime,” Ripley said. “This is the best turnout in its 19 years.”
