UPDATE: Vehicle fire South of M.L. ruled accidental

Highway 4 South of Meadow Lake was briefly closed as the fire department responded to an accidental vehicle fire this morning, Feb. 27.
Crews were called to the fire at roughly 10 a.m. Upon arrival paramedics and firefighters treated the lone occupant on scene before transfer to Meadow Lake Hospital.
Fire Chief Neil Marsh said the occupant was not injured. The fire was determined to be caused by a mechanical failure.
Both lanes of traffic are now open.
